Let's see if Leilani Mitchell can come alive
The Liberty will need her.
RP_45 - September 1, 2010
Yes they will!
Jessica Lantz - September 1, 2010
I'm starting from the beginning this time
maybe it will work better.
LJRotter - September 1, 2010
uh oh...
no JMac?? why even watch?? she’s the reason I love this team… sigh
LJRotter - September 1, 2010
What? No CoveritLive! ?
And no J-Mac? Wow….
James Bowman - September 1, 2010
My first thought....
“…Leilani Mitchell’s out?”
James Bowman - September 1, 2010
LOL!
You miss the CoverItLive?! I thought I was the only one that liked those…
Jessica Lantz - September 1, 2010
It reminded me of the old IRC chatrooms. And watching live-action Twitter was interesting.
James Bowman - September 1, 2010
Well then! If you like them, this will be the last non-CiL game ;)
Jessica Lantz - September 1, 2010
Yeah, but if we’re the only ones using them…we’ll just stick with the comments system.
James Bowman - September 1, 2010
There are a couple others...
Imma do them for the rest of the games
Jessica Lantz - September 1, 2010
I like Cover it live too….
garzai38 - September 1, 2010 via mobile
YAY!!!
Next time – promise :)
Jessica Lantz - September 1, 2010
As someone asked on RebKell....
“…what if the NY Liberty hadn’t picked up Pierson from the Shock?”
James Bowman - September 1, 2010
Anne Donovan’s pre-game speeches are dull. No ranting. No Vince Lombardi-esque speechmaking.
James Bowman - September 1, 2010
…not a single chair shattered.
James Bowman - September 1, 2010
give the lady a break :)
LJRotter - September 1, 2010
call me crazy...
but I think the starting lineup for the Liberty is quite pretty.
LJRotter - September 1, 2010
Lin Dunn has abandoned her zebra-skin jacket. Going for some op-art.
James Bowman - September 1, 2010
Does J-Mac need those spex?
James Bowman - September 1, 2010

LJRotter - September 1, 2010
Everyone shaking their Shake Weights at MSG….
James Bowman - September 1, 2010
This game might go down to the last Q.
James Bowman - September 1, 2010
that all depends on who comes out strongest after the half.
LJRotter - September 1, 2010
Defensive zzz by NY.
James Bowman - September 1, 2010
And Vaughn finds the basket up close.
James Bowman - September 1, 2010
Cat talking to me. He’s saying, “You need a bowl of cereal at halftime.” Actually, he’s saying that HE needs a bowl of cereal at halftime, but he can dream on.
James Bowman - September 1, 2010
your cat is better than mine
I had to go stop her from trying to murder one of our other cats. it sounds like banshees over here…
LJRotter - September 1, 2010
My cat is now reading about your cat.
James Bowman - September 1, 2010
any advice?
(let’s pretend for a second that I don’t have a degree in Animal Behavior…)
LJRotter - September 1, 2010
None at all. But he’s between me and the keyboard, reading the posts. Ah. Now he read the post, and is walking away. “Leave me out of this.”
James Bowman - September 1, 2010
real helpful.
LJRotter - September 1, 2010
All your cats are smarter than my cat
Actually my daughter’s cat. He’s a big, dumb jock, but beautiful. Knows NOTHING about women’s basketball.
BearBint - September 1, 2010
hm. Gallinari is not ugly.
LJRotter - September 1, 2010
Gallinari is quite good looking. He’s a cutie.
JT Jayhawk - September 2, 2010
Douglas and Catchings have 26 of IND’s 41 points.

James Bowman - September 1, 2010
Both teams need to leave it all on the floor.
Seriously. Leave it all on the floor. Wipe yourselves out.
James Bowman - September 1, 2010
Do you have a preference?
RP_45 - September 1, 2010
Preference, Indiana because I think we have a better chance of beating Indy.
James Bowman - September 1, 2010

IND 51 NYL 50

LJRotter - September 1, 2010

James Bowman - September 1, 2010
Douglas 3 pter puts the lead back to 65-59.
James Bowman - September 1, 2010
Pierson just played that whole possession with a cramp in her calf

LJRotter - September 1, 2010

James Bowman - September 1, 2010
Are there boos from MSG? Tough crowd.
James Bowman - September 1, 2010

LJRotter - September 1, 2010
Yup.
Lived there for two years. Tough crowd.
James Bowman - September 1, 2010
that's what I'm saying.
where’d you live?
LJRotter - September 1, 2010

James Bowman - September 1, 2010
WOW

LJRotter - September 1, 2010
It was deafening in there...
especially during the final two minutes of the game. When I went to post-game, my ears were ringing for a good five minutes.

LJRotter - September 1, 2010

30 pts – a Liberty playoff record.
In five more years, Cappie will have a spitload of awards.
James Bowman - September 1, 2010
via text from Q...
“Cappie to Hall of Fame!”
LJRotter - September 1, 2010
wow
what a time for Catchings to miss…
LJRotter - September 1, 2010

James Bowman - September 1, 2010
Cappie Pondexter quote: “wow!”
James Bowman - September 1, 2010
Dunn going with January over Bevilaqua will certainly be questioned...
RP_45 - September 1, 2010
YES!!!
Briann is very promising indeed, but she is still a rookie and played like one tonight.
BearBint - September 1, 2010
chants of MVP...
Cappie can’t even talk :)
LJRotter - September 1, 2010

(Lucky cats foot copywright petrel. All rights reserve.)
James Bowman - September 1, 2010
alright friends.
I’m off. GREAT basketball.
LJRotter - September 1, 2010
Wow
No one I talked to in Phx thought NY could do it. I guess the Fever proved again that defense wins championships as long as you have enough ways to also score the ball.
Hard to think that the winner of Seattle / Phx isn’t the favorite regardless of Atlanta or NY
Seth Pollack - September 1, 2010
IZ DED
Resurrect me ON SUNDAAAAAAAAAAAAY
